For decades, this hangout has been everything a dive bar should be: of low estate without being seedy, intriguing without being dangerous, careworn without being ugly. Presumably, the fiftysomethings who warm the stools here do go home to their families every once in a while. Still, with brews this cheap, you couldn’t blame them if they just stayed put.
