In June 1993, teenagers Damien Echols, Jessie Misskelley Jr and Jason Baldwin were arrested for the murders of three eight-year-old boys in West Memphis, Arkansas. This is a rare opportunity to meet the director of this excellent documentary, a bi-product of a private investigation funded by Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) and Fran Walsh, to help three innocent men wrongly convicted of murdering three boys in West Memphis. After forensic investigations proving lack of evidence to connect the three to the murder, failed to impress the judge, who stuck to the verdict of guilty, Jackson and Walsh thought that making a documentary might just help. And it did. A personal, touching film showing the relentless fight for the truth. The film's director, Oscar nominated Amy Berg, will be answering the audience's questions after the screening on the 7th of February 2014.
