She will teach the history of phylo, including how to handle it, how to baste, mend it and store it, as well as filling it with delicious ingredients.

Chef Maria Bell, owner of Chef Maria’s Greek Deli, was born in Crete, Greece. She is a specialist in Mediterranean cuisine, and loves educating others about cooking fresh and healthy food. Her recipes have been featured in “Secrets of Louisville Chefs.”
