Athena's Sisters says
It is our right to heal with choice, dignity, and understanding, beginning with education!

This meeting is only for military women (active or vet). Please commit to all 3 workshops as they build on each other! RSVP to athenassisters@gmail.com or Lindsay Gargotto at 502-489-0956.

Educator Bio: This three-series workshop will be led by Mary F. Zriny, LCSW. Mary is a psychotherapist in private practice for 40 years in specializing in PTSD. She has supervised the Center for Women and Families therapists and is Kentucky State approved to do CEU training in PTSD, domestic violence, vicarious trauma, and training for LCSW licensure.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Demystifying Workshops here is a brief outline:

--One and half hour meeting/workshop providing education about trauma-based diagnosis or labels common for military women and families.
--All workshops are FREE, but there will not be childcare or food provided.
--Workshops are led by a caring and knowledgeable Athena's Sisters supporter, Mary Zriny, LCSW.
--All workshops are private and confidential.
--We would like you to attend all three, but if you can choose only one or two, we understand.

Athena's Sisters fully endorses the Demystifying Trauma Language Series. In order for us to heal, we first must understand what we are truly healing from, and then next know what healing options exist. We are each the expert of our own lives, so we must educate ourselves to create a healing journey that will fuse mind, heart, and body justice rooted from our unique life experiences.
