Time Out says

A solo exhibition from the Scottish-based artist, featuring works in drawing, video, performance and textiles

As part of Asia Triennial Manchester 2014, this first ever solo show by Hardeep Pandhal continues the gallery’s admirable series of exhibitions by artists in the early stages of their career.

Exploring sometimes difficult areas of British Asian identity with humour via references to graffiti, psychoanalysis, knitting and Brian de Palma’s ‘Scarface’ amongst other things, Pandhal addresses the 'Conflict and Compassion' theme of this Triennial, examining how we might deal with events from the past in ways we might regret in later life.

The exhibition contains material depicting sexual acts and violence, which some may find offensive, and is not suitable for ages below 18.
