All Star Lanes

There was a time when going bowling meant that you went to an industrial entertainment park, waded through hundreds of slot machines and pool tables, squeezed your feet into some shoes that were both too small and that had just been sprayed with some stinking air freshener, and then found your lane out of the dozens lined up next to each other.

Bowling is not like that anymore.

Situated at Great Northern, All Star Lanes offer a much more modern experience, lifting the game out of the sticky carpet realm and elevating it into a full night out complete with fancy cocktails, classy food and beautifully lit lanes.

A cool reception area greets you and you're guided to your table if you're dining and drinking or straight to your lane via the shoe exchange. Once there you can relax, bowl, eat, drink, have fun and not feel like you need a good wash down once you've left. In fact, there's really no reason to leave at all once the bowling is over, such is the selection of drinks on offer.

The venue also boasts a lovely private room which can be hired for special occasions, including weddings. It has its own bar, you can organise private catering and there are two lanes included so that your guests can get competitive.
