Located on a back street just off Trinity Way and down the road from Elbow sanctuary Blueprint Studios, The Eagle Inn is a relic, dating back to 1903, lovingly brought back to life and infused with a youthful exuberance from those that have restored it. A smoking veranda out the back is reminiscent of a mate’s back garden and the front is one of the best sun-traps in the city.
Bar snacks are provided and if you’re lucky you’ll get some phenomenal macaroons from English Rose Bakery. Continuing the musical theme from the nearby recording studios there’s a piano in the back room, as well as a music hall that’s bringing more people to Salford for the right reasons.
