Self-consciously tacky tiki bar that knows a thing or two about rum (and setting it on fire)

One of the rainiest cities in the country, Manchester is home to no less than four tiki bars, and Hula is arguably the pick of the bunch. Unlike the tiki bars you see in Elvis Presley movies, it is in a basement next to a disused bus stop, but don’t let that put you off. Hula is a rum drinker’s dream and the place to go for a raucous night out any night of the week. The Hawaiian-shirted staff behind the bar will rustle up anything you wish, from a selection of over 100 of the finest imported rums. If you can’t decide, go for the zombie. Trust us.
