Cup North celebrates Manchester's finest beans with a coffee party

Coffee making

Coffee is big business. Getting a fantastic flat white, an extraordinary espresso or a crappy cappuccino can make or break your day.

Now, in celebration of the drink in its many forms, and as a means to promote good coffee making skills, Cup North have created a coffee party over two days, partnering with some of the city's best ground bean outlets.

There are book readings, talks, a coffee auction, food traders and, on top of all this, coffee exhibitors will be showing off their wares, including a lovely display of coffee cups from around the world.

Music comes from Paolo Fuschi, Alice Gasson, the Prohibition Swing Club and others, so you may need something stronger than an Americana to keep you going.

Cup North is at Artwork, Greengate, Manchester M3 7NG on Sat 1 & Sun 2 Nov.
