Music, art, street culture and skateboarding are to be celebrated in Manchester as House of Vans prepares to take over Great Northern Warehouse for a weekend.

Well-known names from the worlds of electronic, dub and drum ‘n’ bass music will be taking to the stage including Jenna & The G’s, 8 Gold Rings ft Sparks and Fox, and Maribou State over the two-day event, with more acts to be announced.

Artwork from three Size? x Vans ambassadors - tattoo artist Jemma Jones, illustrator Jake B and street artist Krek – will be on display and if you’re feeling creative a Riso printing workshop will also be running where you can get involved to make your own print with assistance from the three ambassadors. The finished prints will be used as a page in a commemorative zine.

Womenswear label Man Up Girl will also be running an embroidery workshop to help you to design your very own Vans t-shirt.

Northern Quarter skate shop Black Sheep will be providing a dedicated skate area featuring free skate schools and if you’re feeling peckish American diner Dirty Burger will be serving up grub and NQ coffee shop Takk will be keeping you caffeinated throughout the weekend.

House of Vans Manchester, October 2-3, Great Northern Warehouse. Free entry, advance booking required.
