An events space aimed at supporting independent music, comedy and arts is set to launch in Manchester's Green Quarter.

Street food events group GRUB, events promoter Shebeen and brewery Blackjack Beers have joined forces for Keystone, a flexible events venue which will be housed in a railway arch.

The space will be able to accommodate a range of events – from gigs and markets, to film screenings, supper clubs and theatre productions. It will also include a craft beer bar while street food traders and pop-up chefs from across the UK will offer an ever-changing selection of international cuisine.

The trio recently joined forces for the Winter Beer Festival and aim to launch Keystone at their second event, Shebeen Festival 2015 in May.

The team have launched a Kickstarter pitch to support the funding of the venue.
