A new American diner opening in Manchester is set to arrive with a bang tomorrow – by giving away 300 free burgers.

Infamous Diner, located close to Shudehill, will be providing burgers on the house from 12noon on July 23 to herald their arrival in the city. Both carnivores and vegetarians will be catered for with three different options (Alamo, The Colonel and the Big MACaroni) on offer to takeaway. It’s first come, first served and limited to one burger per person.

The diner, which is part of the same group as Walrus, Tusk, Hula Tiki Lounge and Rosy Lee Tearooms, has an all-American 1950s theme - complete with red booths and a retro jukebox – and promises classic USA-style grub with big flavours and big plates.

It will officially open its doors to the public on July 24.

Infamous Diner, 3-5 Basil Chambers, Nicholas Croft, Northern Quarter.
