Two boyband stars and '90s heart-throb Peter Andre have been announced for the Christmas lights switch on at the Trafford Centre this year.

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer and 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant (and, of course, star of frozen food adverts) will be flicking the switch at the Trafford Centre at the event from 6pm on Thursday October 29.

He’ll be joined on stage by former JLS singer Aston Merrygold, who’ll be performing his first solo single, and Westlife’s Mark Feehily will also be singing his new single ‘Only You’.

The event will also include appearances from Snoopy and Charlie Brown, a gospel choir and ‘The Jersey Boys’ – fresh from their West End stage show.

The event will take place in The Orient from 6pm, with the gospel choir warming up the crowd from 3pm.
