Yesterday's naked bike ride was a big success if the numbers of people taking part is anything to go by, and the reaction of the crowds who watched agog, zoom lensed, honked horns and cheered gave the whole event a carnival feel, albeit with even fewer clothes.
About 200 cyclists in various states of undress peddled through the city centre to promote issues surrounding oil production, fracking and also to present positive images of the body, in all its shapes and sizes.
Time Out Manchester remained clothed - where would we put that 50mm lens otherwise? - but joined in the fun.
