Dave Spikey: Punchlines

2015 promises to be a busy year for Mr Spikey. Not content with 15 nights at the Manchester Arena as part of the Phoenix Nights live show – reprising his role as Jerry 'The Saint' St Clair ('the compere without compare') – he also tours a new stand-up show. The subject of which is punchlines – do jokes always need them and are they funny out of context? Much to explore then, for this reliably funny everyman comic.
