A Queer Revue
Lee Baxter

An experimental venture mixing club DJs with a range of cabaret style performances.

This new venture by Manchester's Greg Thorpe, a man who has brought us, amongst other things, the triumphant Drunk at Vogue and Off the Wall nights, promises to be another big success.

With stalwart clubs like Legends and Essential closing down, Greg has taken inspiration from London's Duckie at the Vauxhaul Tavern, trying to find a space for performance which is integral to the experience and Band on the Wall is the perfect solution.

And it's quite a line up for the first event, with clubnight BOLLOX's Rod Connolly and Lill spinning eclectic sounds, DJ Danny Olsson-Lane and artiste Anna Phylactic representig Cha Cha Boudoir with dance support from Tom Kuzniar, whilst Mr Thorpe himself will also take to the decks.

Alternative film screenings, literary readings and a different host each time will be ensuring that this new night stays with us for a long time.
