Time Out says

Having spent months shacked up in their own studio in deepest Devon THE COMPUTERS return with a brand new EP in November with a taster for their third album due in Spring 2016. ‘Want The News, Here’s The Blues’ is an explosive mix of raw rock ‘n roll sliced with soul and blues – a welcome back hook laden pop punk dancefloor smasher produced and mixed by David McEwan (Plan B, Nitin Sawhney) and released on One Little Indian. With two other new songs ‘Crucifixed On You’ and ‘It’s Over You’ the EP is completed with a cover of the Devo classic ‘Whip It’.

The band released their last album ‘Love Triangles, Hate Squares’ in 2013 and were described by one mag as “Exeter soul punks with a whole lotta shakin ’goin’ on” and singles such as ‘Disco Sucks’ and Mr Saturday Night’ were played on Radio1, 6 Music and Xfm amongst others. With a ferocious live reputation gained by consistent gigging over the years, the band have just played three secret sold out shows (London, Manchester and Brighton) for fans to christen the new tunes which will be on the record and to also introduce new members James Mattock (guitar)and Tom McMahon (bass). They join vocalist Al Kershaw, Aidan Sin (drums), and Fred Ansell (keys).
