Mr Thomas's Chop House

This grand old Victorian building (Grade II listed and really worth a look) plays on its impressive lineage. It's all nooks and crannies, with the bar just like an old British boozer from yesteryear and the restaurant - equally historic - serving good examples of classic British cooking. Award-winning wines and cask ales draw the crowds too.
