Under the stewardship of executive head chef Andrew Wilkie, this Lowry Hotel dining room proves itself a popular Manchester destination. The Josper grill gets a good workout with the mains - the racks of lamb, sea bass and steaks do particularly brisk business - and while it's not the cheapest, the setting is swish. Champagne afternoon tea impresses, too.
