Time Out says

A stripped-back take on Shakespeare's tragedy, with Maxine Peake as The Dane

This bold take on the Bard's best-loved tragedy is remarkable not only for the casting of Maxine Peake as the boyish Prince, but in some of the other casting too. A female Polonius (Gillian Bevan) brings a new dimension to the demise of Ophelia and with actors as superb as John Shrapnel and Barbara Marten as the King and Queen, you can be sure of some fine performances.

Glowing reviews have helped to make this one of the hottest tickets in Manchester right now. If you can see it, you really should.
