King Lear

This is a major new production of Shakespeare's famous play, given the full Northern Broadsides accessible treatmant. What's more it's directed by Jonathan Miller, who brings his remarkable talent for detailed human observation to the play.

Given those credentials it's certainly going to be one of the dramatic highlights of the season, so expect Barrie Rutter in the title role to give it his all.
