It’s panto time, and this Christmas it's down to the Opera House to supply the traditional yuletide family theatre, with the Palace doing ‘Shrek’ and The Lowry opting for less obvious seasonal fare with ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time’.
According to the press release, Priscilla Presley can’t wait to ‘start terrorising the people of Manchester’ as she dons the costume of the Wicked Queen.
No doubt there’ll be a few more queens in the audience too, panto being amongst the campest of trips to the theatre, so get ready to sing along and scream out the immortal words ‘he’s behind you’ as Priscilla, Queen of the Opera House, struts her stuff.
