Time Out says

You know that supercool historic tower surrounded by skyscrapers in downtown Miami? Once used to process Cuban migrants in the 1950s and ’60s, the space is now the Museum of Art and Design (MOAD), a Miami-Dade College institution that opened in April 2018. This winter, catch the exhibit “Where the Oceans Meet,” which showcases 40 artists who explore the concept of borders and its related themes of race, history, ritual and violence. A multisensory companion piece, “Black Power Naps / Siestas Negras,” invites gallerygoers to unwind in a soothing, dimly lit lounge that sports beds with gauzy canopies.
