The aim of the Kickstarter was to bring this historic album to life with contributions towards:

1) A giant inflatable gorilla to emulate the album art
2) Including our full backing vocal and horn section throughout the tour [band members are currently based in NYC and LA]
3) Animations of the album cover artwork

Please watch the video for more information on the project and history of Lee Perry. This Kickstarter is put on by Emch, founder of Dub Champions Festival and band leader of Subatomic Sound System, with the consent of Lee Perry. We have been supporting Scratch in the USA for the past 5 years. During that time, we have refined a combination of electronic elements and live instruments to represent Scratch’s Black Ark studio sound in a live environment. Word on the streets is that these are some of the best Scratch has ever done.
