Blinds, Grammar, Hot Cellars At Day Block Brewing says
After a successful debut EP release in December 2015 (covered by The Current and City Pages), blinds used their momentum to play several summer festivals, tour the midwest, and record a follow up EP. Their new record, Some Thing for No Thing is set to debut January 24th. The first single, “Pretend Life” premiered on The Current Local Show.

blinds consists of Case Shannon (vocals/guitar) and Malcolm Browne (drums) both former members of The Set and bassist Garrison Grouse (Black Diet, What Tyrants) — each of whom are decade into the local music scene.

Indie-folk with some pep. Toes the line between gravitas and pulp.

We play music for moving to. That's music for moving your body, not for moving to a new domicile. Although I suppose we'd sound okay for that too.

Expect trebly guitar, hard-thumping bass, and complex drums backing up the talented vocal duo of Dan and Julie. Also expect awkward stage banter.
