& YOU! (or, others/more)

...will participate in a long table conversation to explore the growing movement of dance (and other forms of performance) experienced within visual art institutions and alternative spaces. The discussion will focus on this growing practice within the context of art history, exploring its relevance in culture, how it facilitates cross-disciplinary dialogue, brings funding and new audiences to the table and, in many cases, commodification.

The long table format allows for a fluidity of participation, the table will be "seeded" with key community leaders working at the intersection of dance and visual art.

We invite others to join this dialogue, local curators from both big museums and smaller gallery spaces, choreographers/dancers, and other performance-makers; and the general public, so there may be stakeholders from a variety of other perspectives present.

Final "In Which" performance follows at 8pm.
