Lms Presents: Erik Ostrom says
Well liked by all, former math whiz Erik Ostrom now sings songs made entirely of words and sounds and feelings. Sometimes these songs sound like rays of light from the setting sun as they fall upon a frozen lake, but louder. But not much louder. He lives around here, just like you.

Every month, a different local musician is interviewed and performs their original music. Having listened closely, the comedians from the local improv group The Local Music Scene then take the words and themes brought up through the songs and interview and use them as the basis and inspiration for their improvised scenes.

The Local Music Scene is: Sarah Arnold, Liz Council, Luke Gonnella, Jeff Gyllen, Mary Kane, Emily Lindholm, Erik Nielsen, Will Roberts, and Philip Simondet. They are an improv group that has trained and performed at various local improv theater, including The Brave New Workshop, ComedySportz Twin Cities, HUGE Theater, and Jesters.
All of them either ARE local musicians or enjoy local music. At the VERY least, they’ve heard the term "local music.”
