Pangea World Theater says
The ancient Indian raag (raga) system is a powerful technology for inner attainment. The word ‘raag’ means mood. Listening to the precisely controlled rhythms, melodies and tones of a raag, our consciousness learns their relation to our emotional and spiritual reality. We can then begin to express that reality and ultimately to change it simply by changing the music.

Come and experience music from the heart of Ancient India, sharing the traditional ragas and forgotten instruments.

This noon performance of Raj Academy is a part of Pangea’s Lake Street Arts! Midday Theater Hour series. Lake Street Arts! led by Pangea World Theater, is a multi-year, interdisciplinary arts, leadership, and community development vehicle. Collaborating with many artists and organizational partners, LSA! is an intercultural effort to highlight Lake Street as an arts and cultural corridor with care to not increase the rate of displacement of people and cultural capital. Art and Culture happen on Lake Street!
