In 8 short weeks, you will learn to create your own mindfulness practice that can help you reduce stress, improve your wellbeing, and recognize the importance of being present. MBSR combines meditation and yoga to help you learn to make each moment count, and is supported by significant clinical and academic research.

Typical class sessions include light yoga, gentle movement, guided meditation, and other experiences in mindful activities, such as mindful eating and mindful communication.

Join us for an info session on Thursday, Aug. 6 from 6-7 pm in the Mayo Meditation Space!

Approved by the Minnesota State Court Administrator's Office for 20 hours of continuing judicial education credit.

For more information, please contact Elisabeth Thao at ethao@umn.edu or Judge Susan Miles at Susan.Miles@courts.state.mn.us
