During the same time, Junket tripled its revenue -- in large part thanks to foot traffic driven via Facebook. And, after a sales and marketing discussion with a dozen or so colleagues turned into an impromptu social media tutorial led by Julie (which, in turn, led to two immediate lunch invitations, plans for an extended session, and an 'I learned more from you this morning than in my course at Saint Thomas!' endorsement), she realized how much potential existed to help other small business owners, would-be entrepreneurs, and social change agents in their efforts to foster community and develop meaningful connection through social media.
