The Tour Divide A Recap From The Friends Of Angry Catfish says
Every year the Tour Divide captures the attention of cyclists throughtout the globe. Some see the epic imagry and are inspired to take on their own adventures, some get enthraled with tracking the live GPS leaderboard online, and some...well some actually ride it.

We're please to be joined by a few of the riders/racers from this year's 2016 Tour Divide Race for an informal roundtable discussion and evening of Stories from the Divide.

David Markman: You may remember him from an earlier bikepacking seminar and evening we had at Angry Catfish this summer. David took on the Tour Divide with vigor this year, and is back to tell us how he did. What worked, what didn't work, and his goals for the future.

Jay Barre: Adventure advocate, #unpredictyourwednesday associate, and Gravel Jesus. Jay will be traveling to us from Topanga Creek Outpost outside of L.A. to tell us his version of this year's Tour Divide. He's long been a promoter of getting lost and shaking up the mondane work-week.

Bailey Newbrey: Running one of Chicago's finest bike shops (Comrade Cycles) is difficult enough, but throwing down one of this year's fastest times on the Continental Divide race...on a singlespeed...now that deserves some recognition.

Happy Hour: 6-7pm
Story Time: 7-9pm

If you have questions for the riders, make sure you remember them for the evening. I'm sure we'll cover everything from preperations, gear, and how to fuel up for a 2,700 mile journey.

See you Saturday!
