Transmission's 14th Anniversary At First Avenue With The Smiths Andy Rourke!

Transmission is turning 14, and for the occasion we're flying in a member of one of the most influential bands in modern rock history to guest DJ! On Saturday, March 21st The Current, City Pages and The Electric Fetus welcome you to join The Smiths Andy Rourke and DJ Jake Rudh for five hours of dancing to the best in new wave, synth, and indie rock...with a few "Anything Goes" surprises thrown in for good measure. It's not often that we get to party with someone who helped write the music that was the soundtrack to our high school and college years, but we're getting that chance on the 21st.
