Time Out says

2 out of 5 stars

Feminist it ain’t. The concept of this dizzy French romcom is that first marriages famously end in divorce for the women in dentist Isabelle’s (Diane Kruger) family. So, when she meets the man of her dreams, Isabelle decides to find a chump, get married and sort out a quickie divorce before her big day. She meets hapless Rough Guide travel writer Jean-Yves (Dany Boon) on a flight. Now, if you seriously wanted to get hitched in a hurry surely there’s a way that doesn’t involve Kenyan Maasai nomads, eating a goat’s eyeball and being drooled over by a lion. Especially if you look like Diane Kruger. But this is one of those goofball comedies where crazy things just keep on happening. Its wackiness drives you nuts. Although there is an almost funny scene in which Isabelle injects Jean-Yves with enough Novocaine to sedate a crowd of Justin Bieber fans. That’s the closest these actors get to chemistry.
