Hoping to rise with Hannibal Rising, this German serial-killer flick finds a theatrical window of opportunity, only to underwhelm. Grizzled detective Michael (Mhring), on the case of a murderer at large, toggles between the ravings of captured loony Engel (Hennicke) and his own teenage son, Christian (Diekamp), who admits to relations with the most recent victim. If those names have a certain religious tinge to them, then good for you: You’ve correctly identified Antibodies’ sole discerning characteristic, an Old Testament streak that has father nearly sacrificing son on the altar. Time for some new gods. (Opens Fri; Cinema Village.) — Joshua Rothkopf
