Bubba Ho-tep

This is a comedy-horror movie featuring Elvis, JFK and a soul-sucking Egyptian mummy. It casts Bruce Campbell (‘Evil Dead’) as an Elvis impersonator who claims to have agreed a life-swap with the since-deceased ‘King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’. Now he’s languishing in a Texas old folks’ home, together with fellow inmate John F ‘Jack’ Kennedy (Ossie Davis), who apparently survived Lee Harvey Oswald’s assassination attempt and was then dyed black as the ultimate disguise. When Elvis and Jack discover that an Egyptian mummy in cowboy gear has been helping itself to their fellow residents’ souls, the Zimmer frame-pushing Elvis and his wheelchair-bound buddy fashion a makeshift flame-thrower and do battle with the soul-sucking Egyptian dude. There’s plenty of scatological humour and knockabout fun to get one through the slower passages.
