Pulled off the shelf to bask in the reflected glow of Hell on Wheels, David Pomes's speed-freak drama stars Hell's Anson Mount as an East Texas amphetamine dealer taking especially lousy care of his young daughter and teenage nephew. When the pusher's jailbird elder brother (Berkeley) shows up determined to extricate his son and stay clean himself, the two clash with entirely rote results. Pomes squeezes in a few well-observed details among the recycled white-trash clichs, but any AMC viewer who's tuned into the lead-in for Mount's TV Western---Breaking Bad---expects far, far more from his or her meth-fueled entertainment.
