Time Out says
Imagine Ken Loach remaking Die Hard. Police shrink McGann talks single mum Lynch out of jumping off the tower block that's home to her and her small son, but the place also has a vandalism problem and a creaking old lift - where the three end up, dangling and fighting for their lives. Director Nalluri makes the best of this, but can do little about the script's tin ear for would-be hard boiled dialogue, and Georgeson's overheated performance as the unemployed dad who's not going to take it anymore. Credibility doesn't really come into it.
