This affecting film is more than just an inspirational doc about the Holocaust; it’s a portrait of an incredible yet flawed woman. Auschwitz survivor Eva Mozes Kor—one of many twins used as human guinea pigs in Nazi genetic experiments—recounts her tortures, and what ultimately convinced her to absolve her tormentors. The directors follow Kor as she spreads her message of forgiveness throughout the U.S., Europe and the Middle East, where she coldly dismisses a number of Palestinians who reach out to her.
