Time Out says

Credit this doc about the organic-food movement for adding a crucial ingredient into the mix: Rather than just groaning about how horrible processed-to-death edibles are, Fresh offers alternatives along with its sky-is-falling screeds. You still get the requisite Michael Pollan interviews and late-night-news scare montages, but director Ana Sofia Joanes softens her agricultural agitprop attack with case studies that prove people can make sustainable, environmentally friendly methods work. Those with low tolerance for crunchy hippie hyperbole, consider yourself warned; we dare you not to laugh when a farmer brags about letting his poultry experience “their full chickenness.”—David Fear
