Hap-Ki-Do

A well-mounted action pic with a female lead who practises the martial art of Hap-Ki-Do. There is an undoubted, if limited, kick to be had from seeing a woman in there giving as good as she gets instead of waiting under the cherry blossoms. Set in 1934 Korea, when the country was under the domination of those perennial baddies, the Japanese, the plot concerns the efforts of the Chinese to fight back against constant provocation. The biggest culprits are the denizens of the notorious Black Bear School, and inevitably it is left to Angela Mao to storm the place alone.
