Empty platitudes about the healing power of religious faith give shallow meaning to the story of a depressed atheist (Wilson) whose house is declared a shrine when the face of Jesus appears on its facade. Poor pacing, uninspired writing, painfully obvious plot points and a “just believe” message of redemption shape this insultingly simplistic parable about despair.
