How Arnold Won the West

Time Out says

Given the imminence of a certain, rather important election, this informative and energetic look at another US ballot process provides essential viewing, not least because it shows how open to abuse the whole system is. When a century-old state law allowed Californian Republicans to call another vote, seeking to topple the recently elected Democrat governor, the gunpowder in their cannon came in the form of one Mr Schwarzenegger, and the outcome of all the scheming should set alarm bells ringing in the heads of all those who can still separate film from actually existing reality. ‘Be afraid, be very afraid’ could well be the message here.
