An Indian man (Abhishek Bachchan) and a Pakistani-British woman (Zinta) meet by chance while waiting at a London train station and decide to kill time by telling each other the stories of how they met their respective betrotheds. The nonsensical plot that follows—which at least has the virtue of not pretending to be anything more than a flimsy excuse for a series of lengthy music-video-style song-and-dance numbers—somehow culminates, in singular Bollywood fashion, with a climactic dance-off.
