Time Out says
Although Hilary Swank's portrayal of a pugilist in Million Dollar Baby
got Oscar's nod, she's no match for the hard-living, pile-driving women
wrestlers in Ruth Leitman's affectionate doc. With names like the Fabulous
Moolah and Gladys "Kill 'em" Gillem, these gals, many in their seventies and
eighties, are supreme raconteurs. Thankfully, Leitman has the good sense to just
let her subjects tell their tales: "I rassle dirty and I was a tough son of a
gun," boasts 81-year-old Moolah in her weathered South Carolina drawl.
Astonishingly, she still takes to the mat, battling glamazons several decades
younger.
