It is the sad reality of modern life that almost everything we do or say is somehow recorded. Director Adam Rifkin (Detroit Rock City) decided to harness Big Brother’s all-seeing, never-sleeping, slightly rheumy eyes to make a Crash-like film shot mainly from surveillance footage. The gimmicky appeal of seeing a movie through ATM and storeroom cameras wears off pretty quickly, though, and the rest of Look’s limited appeal comes by way of its random sex, violence and hilarious convenience-store musical endeavors.
