Take him out of his top hat, shades and hamster warble, and T-Pain is---lo!---an actual human being, even a funny one, slyly hawking lottery tickets and randomly insulting his customers. (One sweet-looking girl is called "ignorant.") Alas, his five minutes are the sharpest thing in this regrettably released, Atlanta-shot comedy about an industrious high-school grad (Bow Wow) who suddenly becomes a target in his projects after winning $370 million. Even on its own limited terms, the jokes are sub--Friday sequel, and a last-act grab for Boyz n the Hood pathos is seriously reaching.---Joshua Rothkopf
