Time Out says

Here's something different. I guess you could call it a faux first-person documentary (Beta SP). It begins with images of Che, Ali and writer/director Norfolk. Chutzpah or what? (Later he cites King, X and Sid James as his role models.) Commissioned by Welsh band Diesel Bug to record them live, Norfolk takes the measly budget and tries to finish off the feature he started five long years ago. Trouble is, his leading lady is now pregnant, his actor won't talk to him, and it doesn't take long for the crew to lose patience. Even Diesel Bug get suspicious. 'It's like a student film - only less organised,' they complain. They're right. You could call it an avant garde deconstruction of independent film practice and process - or you could call it a piss-take. It's a shambles, but engagingly so. I laughed lots.
