Mini's First Time

A worthy wallow for those who prefer their misanthropy unleavened by compassion, insight or innovation, Mini’s First Time features a pubescent femme fatale (Reed) who tricks her horny stepfather (Baldwin) into snuffing Mom (Moss), a character so unbelievably shrill that her presence makes the movie’s sympathies as transparent as its tropes. We’re bluntly invited to identify with the unrepentant Lolita at film’s end, but until then, the teen-shagging dad is its obvious champion. (Opens Fri) — Mark Holcomb
