In yet another well-meaning but meandering doc exploring life (and death) during wartime, Iraqi expat Usama Alshaibi brings nothing new to the discussion, despite his personal ties to the subject. A naturalized American citizen who visited his homeland for the first time in 24 years in 2004, Alshaibi filmed his compatriots (including many of his long-lost relatives) remembering the horrors of Hussein, complaining about the occupation and going about their daily business. The movie has no discernible structure or point, except to say that war is hell but life goes on. But we knew that already.
