Plans For Tomorrow

Time Out says
Four women of different ages find their lives turned upside down in this would-be affecting, actually just tedious Spanish melodrama. Career woman Inés finds herself pregnant with a child she might actually want, bored housewife Antonia re-engages with her past in the form of a creepy English ex-lover and browbeaten Mum Marian arranges to meet her abusive estranged husband against daughter Mónica's wishes. First-timer Juana Macías's direction is flat and uninspired, her characters bland and her insights shallow and obvious: the average 'EastEnders' episode has as much to say as 'Plans for Tomorrow'.
